Fantastic Planet tells the tale of “Oms”, human-like creatures, stored as domesticated pets by an alien race of blue giants called “Draags”. The tale takes place on the Draags’ planet Ygam, where we follow our narrator, an Om called Terr, from infancy to adulthood. He manages to get away enslavement from a Draag finding out instrument used to teach the savage Oms — and starts to organise an Om revolt.
