TV weatherman Bill Harding is attempting to get his tornado-hunter wife, Jo, to signal divorce papers so he can marry his female friend Melissa. But Mother Nature, in the shape of a series of intense storms sweeping throughout Oklahoma, has other plans. Soon the three have joined the team of stormchasers as they strive to insert a innovative measuring tool into the very center of several extraordinarily violent tornados.
