Caesar and his apes are pressured into a deadly warfare with an army of people led through a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unbelievable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and starts his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the adventure lastly brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic fight that will identify the fate of each their species and the future of the planet.
