Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest lifestyles when her father begins a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided via her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions reside in Headquarters, the management heart internal Riley's mind, the place they help propose her thru normal life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to regulate to a new lifestyles in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and maximum vital emotion, attempts to stay issues positive, the emotions struggle on how best to navigate a new city, area and school.
