Movie RoboCop (1987)

In a violent, near-apocalyptic Detroit, evil agency Omni Consumer Products wins a settlement from the city executive to privatize the police force. To check their crime-eradicating cyborgs, the corporate leads side road cop Alex Murphy into an armed confrontation with crime lord Boddicker so they can use his frame to support their untested RoboCop prototype. But whilst RoboCop learns of the company's nefarious plans, he turns on his masters.
